He later pleaded guilty to identity fraud, forgery, and unlawful pharmacy conduct charges, paying a $25,000 fine.
He was also found guilty individually for gun charges in December 2024 and sentenced to nearly two years in federal prison. The sentence also contained five years probation, and a fine of $200,000.
President Trump pardoned YoungBoy completely from the gun charge in May 2025. The rapper publicly praised Trump, stating that the pardon meant he had “the opportunity to keep building — as a man, as a father, and as an artist.
